System Patches and Updates for February 22nd, 2024
The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
New Features
- POS Signature Pickup | POS Signature Pickup
- Users can now be invited to setup their username and password via email | Inviting Users
Resolved Issues
- Restored functionality to SMS message template preview
- Addressed issue with bulk print link for statements is not functioning
- Resolved issue with tip charges duplicating on recurring jobs
- Customer email is now visible in POS template
- Addressed error with jobs imported from ServicePower not registering as warrantied jobs
- Serial Numbers are now visible on Sales Analysis Report
Enhancements
- Miles added to Unit of Measurements list
- Discounts can now be applied via a flat fee | Creating and Managing Discounts
- Search Catalog feature added to Services and Labor | Service Search Catalog
- Updated search bar UI
- Customer names, company names, account numbers, and secondary numbers can now searched using the Search bar | Feature Update: Search Bar
- Time slots can now be selected for appointment reminders | Appointment Reminders
- Bundles can now be added to POS
- A message now displays when moving recurring jobs via drag and drop, giving you the option to change the rest of the recurrence
- Partial refunds can now be issued (excluding Stripe and Authorize.net transactions)
- Availability limits can now be set when using AM and PM timeslots in Instant Booking | Instant Booking: Schedule
- SKUs are now visible on Purchase Orders
- Date filter added to Customer report
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our maintenance notification emails. Please note that the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
