System Patches and Updates for May 16th, 2023

The following issues/patches/updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

New Features

Resolved Issues

  • Addressed issue with file export in Inventory by Location report
  • Resolved issues with dynamic fields not populating correctly on notification templates
  • When duplicating job modifications forward, recurrences no longer create extra days.
  • Job order now displays in the same order as the Route Sheet
  • Fixed an issue when altering preset times on a job did not update within the software

Enhancements

  • Added the ability to export images from the Inventory by Location report
  • Added error message when attempting to submit orders for parts not linked to the Marcone database
  • Updated error message for incorrect ServicePower & ServiceBench credentials
  • “Save Job” button now changed to “Submit Request” in Customer Portal
  • Bin Location column added to Customer Sales by Item, Parts Order, and Serial Numbers Available report
  • Added Job Type and Job Status columns to Time Tracking report
  • Added “Prompt Renewal” checkbox within Recurrence menu


We update ServiceWorks over a weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
