The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWor
Resolved Issues
- Resolved issue where returned items would appear within the Inventory Sold report
- Addressed error where ServicePower jobs did not include the assigned repair category when submitted
- Resolved issue with discrepancies in Sales Tax Accrual reports
- Adjusted UI to make customer information more visible in Staff view
- Resolved issue where the schedule sidebar would not appear in certain browsers
- Resolved issue where customer city and state would not export correctly from QuickBooks
- Fixed error where the invoice link for customer payments would appear blank in the print preview
- The system will now factor in a customer’s payment terms when calculating invoice due dates
- When creating a Purchase Order (PO) directly from the Items Needed page, you’ll now see that the cost displayed on the PO will be accurate.
Enhancements
ZONES
- Technician Zone Selection for Creating Jobs
You can now select to view technicians from other service zones when creating and assigning jobs. You’ll also be able to select all zones using the Show All Zones toggle

INVENTORY
- Cycle Count Discrepancy Amounts
Now when conducting cycle counts, you’ll be able to view the discrepancy amounts (if any) between what was counted and the expected stock amount.
- Parts On Jobs – Legend Update
We’ve updated how the truck icon will appear on your schedule when parts are assigned to the job. Click HERE to learn more on this new change.
- Stock Availability Update
The Available link in the inventory now only shows stock locations with values greater than 0
- Default Bin Selection
When selecting items for use, the system will now select the first available bin in stock, eliminating the need to search for available items.
MISC.
- Job, Estimate, and Template Numbers on Open Tabs
Open tabs of ServiceWorks in your web browser will now display the job, estimate, or template number on the tab, making it easier to view and switch between multiple tabs at once.
- Warranty Invoice Dynamic Text
Added the following dynamic text fields to be used within the warranty invoice template:
{FirstAssignDateTime}: For First Assignment Date and Time
{FirstAssignDate}: For First Assignment Date
{FirstAssignTime}: For First Assignment Time
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our maintenance notification emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates.
