System Patches and Updates for June 7th, 2024
The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
New Features
- New Report: Current Inventory of All Warehouses
- Feature Update: Schedule Map View
Enhancements
- Updated UI for login screen
- Job Status filter added to the Employee Earnings Report
- Daily Deposit form now shows a separate section for refunds
- Added the option to submit ServicePower claims directly from warranty menu
Bug Fixes
Inventory
- Item on hand quantities now reflect the items current availability
- Items added to POS now display the correct quantity on hand
- When either On Order or On Hand is clicked on the inventory page, they no longer both appear.
- Resolved issue where changing part status caused duplicates to be created or removed from inventory
Jobs
- Addressed issue where blackout days were being ignored in recurring jobs
- Using the Get Status link on the order page no longer causes job statuses to change
- Addressed issue where creating jobs for sub-customers via mobile app would display the parent customer name instead
Mobile App
- Resolved issues with notification accuracy in job discussions
- Work orders can now be created from Product Management in mobile app
- Fixed error where tax rates would not appear on mobile app
Products
- Resolved issue with active and inactive products not appearing within customer history
- Fixed error where product photos would appear randomly on tickets
- Decreased load times for Product Additional Information page
Reports
- Restored functionality to job status filter in Commission / Job Report
- Corrected calculation errors on Commission / Job report
- Restored functionality to Employee Earnings Report
Serialized Items
- Serialized items set to allocated now correctly deducts from available quantity
- Addressed issue where sold serial items would still appear as available
- Serial numbers no longer appear as available when added to invoice
- Transferring items with serial numbers no longer removes the item from the Serial Number Available search
- Decreased loading times on Serial Number Search Report
Tips
- Tips charged are now reflected in tip column of payroll report
- Tips charged are now reflected in other charges totals
Warranty Claims
- Resolved error where warranty type dropdown box in product section only displayed the first letter of the warranty
- Addressed issue where ServiceBench jobs assigned to users did not retain information or technicians assigned
- Customer A/R now allows for refund to be given in any tender
Miscellaneous
- Fixed a problem where the system wouldn’t display parent accounts with more than 50 sub-customers when viewing more results by increasing the page number
- Appointment reminders now reflect timeframe in notification
- Company user limit now work per account limits
- Restored sorting functionality to Purchase order page
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note that the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
