The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
New Features
- Tech Routes can be Optimized or Rescheduled via Time Slot View
Resolved Issues
- Resolved issue where services marked as taxable or non-taxable did not carry over the tax status or rate to invoices
- Addressed spelling error in customer portal settings
- Fixed error where payment amounts were appearing twice within the Daily Deposit report
- Resolved issue where user was unable to submit PO’s to Marcone due to invalid part error
- Addressed error where reassigning products created duplicate entries within the system
- Fixed issue with taxes applied to jobs not using the default tax rate
- Resolved issue where updating technician working hours did not save properly
- Addressed error with child customers not displaying if they were billed to self or billed to parent in the Job Status Report
- Resolved issue where product, product family, and default distributor would not import properly
- Restored visibility to the ETF payments row in the Daily Deposit report.
Enhancements
- When Marcone purchase orders return an error message, the user will now see a detailed message on what caused the error and have the ability to correct and resubmit the purchase order.
- Shopify Enhancements: More detailed descriptions on what will and wont sync, emails now send about sync errors, and more
- Removed “Contractor” filter from Daily Time Slot view, replaced with “All Resources”
- Customer Portal now includes a link to print off paid receipts
- Taxable checkboxes are automatically disabled for any job marked as “Warranty”
- Added “Professional / Saleseperson” filter option to the Invoice Register report
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our maintenance notification emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates.
