System Patches and Updates for December 12th, 2024
The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
New Features
- New Report: Finance Charge
- New Report: Tax Exempt Customer
- New Report: Open PO Items
- New Report: Revenue on Service Items by Tech
Resolved Issues
- Addressed issues with appointment reminders not sending during scheduled times.
- Fixed issue with jobs completed in SW not syncing the completed status to ServiceBench.
- ServicePower claims can now exceed 6 decimal places.
- Resolved error where importing <50 jobs caused duplicate jobs to be created.
- Addressed error where deleting cancellation reasons caused the menu to not function.
- Items Received by Receive Date no longer shows a zero dollar amount when calculating item totals.
- Auto-accepting jobs from ServicePower now updates the tax rate to the set rate in ServiceWorks.
- Restored functionality to edit city and zip code in the customer portal.
- Addressed error where clicking history details for jobs at the bottom of the list caused other options to be obscured
- Resolved issue with certain reports being unable to run.
- Addressed issue where refunds weren’t being reported correctly when using the Daily Deposit Report.
- Fixed error with jobs from previous months being displayed in the tax accrual report.
Mobile App
- Decreased load times with generating the route sheet in the mobile app.
- Restored the “bad credentials” message when logging in to the mobile app with incorrect ID/password.
Enhancements
- Added Schedule Duration column to the Invoice Register Report.
- Customer phone number is now visible within the Unassigned and Ready to Be Rescheduled tabs.
- Added the ability to enforce the completion of Job Forms on jobs.
- Added a download link for forms within the All Jobs page.
- Users can now process payment without having to save the card used on file in Online Booking.
- Added Job Type column to New Vs Old Customer report.
- A Cleared Payments section has been added to the Daily Deposit Report.
- Additional options have been added to the details menu of the Membership page.
- When all technicians meet the requirements set for optimization, they will now be displayed in alphabetical order.
- Product Family & Detail has been added to the Inventory Sold report.
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our maintenance notification emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates.
