System Patches and Updates for March 21st, 2023

The following issues/patches/updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

  • New Features
    Updated the process for setting job recurrences (view blog HERE)
    Payment Terms can now be added to customer accounts (view blog HERE)
    Added Date as a type in custom fields
  • Jobs/Estimates
    Added explanation to Sooner Service option in job menu
    Addressed issue with job duration defaulting to the original value after updating
    Fixed issue with CSS code being visible in SMS notifications
    Addressed finance charges causing discrepancies in statements
    Resolved issue with confirmation popup not appearing when creating billing jobs
    Company Logos are now visible on the estimate approval page
    Added the ability to delete job types, even if they are assigned to jobs
  • Mobile App
    Create PO button now greys out after a PO has been successfully created
    Uploaded photo view can now be enlarged in the mobile app
    Custom invoice subject is now visible when sending emails via the mobile app
  • Schedule
    Multiple and recurring jobs can now be scheduled for a maximum of 1 year
  • Misc
    Resolved issue with vendor item returns causing discrepancies in inventory
    Increased file upload size in Customer Portal from 5MB to 10MB
    Added Trip Completion Date Time, Trip Completion Date, Job Completion Date Time, and Job Completion Date to invoices and estimates
    Added “Quantity on Hand” column to the Order Items report
    Warranty reports now export to Excel, PDF, and . CSV files
    Addressed issue where assigned serial numbers were no longer attached after inventory transfer

We update ServiceWorks over a weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
