If you’re one of the users that finds themselves needing to broadcast or dispatch scheduled jobs to contract workers, you’ll want to make sure that your broadcast notification templates are set up correctly before you begin to assign scheduled services. Here’s a brief tutorial on where to find them and how to correctly edit them.
To begin, navigate to Configuration -> Notification ->Template to view your list of editable notification templates within ServiceWorks

Once the template list has expanded you’ll want to navigate to the sections that say Broadcast, Approve Broadcast, and Reject Broadcast. Select Broadcast to begin editing.

Once in the template edit menu, you can configure the message that is sent to your technicians when broadcasting a scheduled job. There is also a field for setting up a different email to send these messages from. You can also use the legend for reference as to which dynamic tags will work with this template.

Once finished with your changes, (as well as adding text to the Text Message and Robo Call sections), select Save to continue
Now you’ll want to complete the same process with the Approve Broadcast and Reject Broadcast templates. Additionally, you’ll have the ability to determine how the technician’s name is displayed on the template using the toggles toward the bottom of the page.

Before You Finish…
Be sure to fill out the text fields in the Approve Broadcast and Reject Broadcast messages. LEAVING THESE FIELDS BLANK WILL PREVENT A NOTIFICATION FROM BEING SENT TO THE TECHNICIAN WHEN THEIR BROADCAST REQUEST HAS BEEN ACCEPTED / REJECTED
