An eBlast feature can be a very useful tool for businesses and organizations that want to communicate with their audience quickly and effectively. An eBlast is essentially an email that is sent to a large group of people at the same time, with the purpose of promoting a product or service, providing information, or announcing an event
The following tutorial will cover how to utilize the eBlast feature within ServiceWorks.
To begin, hover over the Customer section of the toolbar and select Customers
Once in the customer view screen, click the checkboxes next to the names of the customers you’d like to send this email blast out to. You can use the available search options and lead statuses to filter your results. Once finished with your selections, click the Action button and select Send Eblast .
In the following eBlast popup, you’ll have the following options:
- From – Set an email address to have as the return address. This will automatically populate with your company’s email address by default, but you can change this to any desired email
- Subject – Create a subject line for your eBlast email
- Body – Enter the email text. You can also use the dynamic text on the right side to populate the corresponding information into the email as well.
Once finished with your email, click Send to push your eBlast to your customers.
Now that they’ve been sent, the date of the last eBlast will now appear next to the customer’s name in the Customer view
