Reports

Report – Account Receivable

Within ServiceWorks, you can generate a report based on your customers within the Account Receivable section. Here’s a brief tutorial on how to utilize this feature

When opening up this report, you have the following filter options:

  • Date: Use this to define the date range of accounts generated by the report
  • Invoice Type: Here you can select several different types of invoices:
All: This option will display all types of invoices
Svc: This option will display invoices with services attached within your accounts receivable
POS: This option will display any Point of Sales transactions that are in accounts receivable
F-Charge: This option will display all accounts with finance charges in accounts receivable
  • Option: You can narrow down your search with the following fields:
All: This option will display all of the Option types
Delivered Jobs: This option will display all accounts with jobs marked as Delivered (or Completed, if you have edited the Delivered status)
Invoiced Items: This option will display all accounts with invoiced items attached

Once you are satisfied with your selections, click Run Report to continue

Now that you’ve run your report, it should generate something similar to the example below:

From this table, you can see the following:

  • Account: Account number associated within account receivable
  • Customer: The customer’s name associate with the account
  • Inv#: a list of associated invoices, complete with links to the Job, Estimate, or POS ticket
  • Status: The current status of the invoice or POS
  • Amount: How much was paid at the creation of the invoice/POS ticket
  • 0-30 Days, Over 30/60/90 Days: the amounts of what was paid (if any) over a 30, 60, or 90 day period
  • Total: How much is still due on the account.
