During your initial onboarding sessions with ServiceWorks, a support specialist will walk you through the process of configuring your preferred payment gateway method from the list of providers that we currently support on our system.
Once set up and enabled, we highly encourage you to test your newly connected gateway to verify the completion of the integration process. Here’s a brief walkthrough on how to do so:
Testing Payment Gateway via Job
In the toolbar, click Add New and then select New Job

In the Job edit menu, create a new test customer (Or use a customer account reserved for testing)

Then scroll down to either the Service/Labor or the Item/Parts section, add a part or item, and set that item’s price to $2 or less and then select Save. (We recommend using a smaller monetary amount when testing the gateway)


Now that the test job has been saved, head over to the Payment panel and select Down Payment

Next, select Credit Card as the payment amount, enter ~$2 for the amount paid, enter the card info, and select Pay Now

Once finished, you should now see a confirmation message within the Payment section

NOTE: You will need to have your Instant Booking page set up and enabled before being able to complete this process. If you have not done so, please refer to our Instant Booking setup HERE
Open up your Instant Booking page by navigating to Configuration -> Job Settings -> Instant Booking

In the Instant Booking menu, click the eye icon to preview your current page configuration

Once in your instant booking preview, enter information up until you reach the service selection, then select a service within that $1-$2 testing range from earlier
Note: You will need to set up a service for ~$2 within your Price List to properly test your gateway. More instructions on how to add services to your Price List HERE

Once finished with your service selections, enter in your card information on the payment screen. You should then receive a notification on the success of your recently processed payment
