Report: Serial Number Search

What This Report Does:
Generates a list of all serialized items within your ServiceWorks account by the serial number assigned

Upon opening this report, you’ll have the following options for filtering your search:

  • Brand – Filter results by the item’s assigned brand
  • Product Family – Filter results by the specific product family of an item
  • Product Detail – Filter results by the specific product detail of an item
  • Location – Filter results by the item’s current inventory location
  • Model # – Filter results by an item’s model number (if applicable)
  • Serial # – Filter results by an item’s assigned serial number

Once satisfied with your selection, click Run Report to continue

Once generated, you will be able to view the following information within the report:

  • Location – Displays the current location of the serialized item
  • Brand – Displays the items assigned brand name
  • Model# – Displays the item’s assigned model number
  • Serial # – Displays the serial numbers attached to the item
  • Description – Displays the text in the item’s Description field.
  • Product Type – Displays the assigned product family and detail for the item
  • Date Receive – Displays the date on which the item was received
  • Date Sold – Displays the date on which the item is sold. Will remain blank if job has not been sold yet
  • Customer – Displays the name of the customer this item was sold to
  • Invoice – Displays the invoice number the item is attached to
  • Cost – Displays the total internal price for the item
  • Price – Displays the total price of the item
