Daily Parts Required

To access this feature, you’ll first need to ensure that your permissions are setup to display Daily Parts Required.

Click the cogwheel in the toolbar to open the Configurations tab, and then navigate to Admin -> Permission

In the permissions menu, select the role you wish to enable this for in the first drop-down box. In the second, select Job

At the bottom of that list, you should see the Daily Parts Requirement listed. Enable all the permissions for this and then Ctrl + F5 to refresh the page and apply the settings

Much like the mobile app feature, the daily parts required can be used to quickly identify and transfer parts needed for jobs.

To access this, hover over the _ section of the toolbar and select

In the Daily Parts Required menu, you can use the following search fields:

  • Search – use this to search by item name, description, or item number. If you have a scanning device available, you can also click the barcode next to the search bar to lookup items that way
  • Location – Use the location search to view all items added to the daily parts required list by the location requested
  • Select Technician – Use this field to narrow your search by the technician assigned to the job

Once you’ve entered your information into the field, click Search

Now that your results have been generated, you can view information pertaining to the part requested; such as item information and current stock availability

Clicking the On Hand quantity will pull up a list of the item’s current inventory locations, as well as the quantity

Pressing the Pick button will allow you to select which inventory location to transfer an item to and from, allowing you to adjust the quantity of parts required. When finished, click Save to store your changes

Once finished, the item should no longer appear within the Daily Parts Required list

And by using the Print button, you can print off a list of parts required based on the name of the technician selected. This list will appear in the order of which the job have been scheduled according to the technician’s route
