Filtering leads by availability can help you focus your efforts on prospects that are more likely to convert into paying customers. Here are some steps you can take to filter leads by availability:
- Define your service area: Before you can check availability, you need to define your service area. Determine the geographic regions where you offer your services and establish clear boundaries. Go to Setting -> Service Setting -> Zone and Define your area where you offer services currently.
- Collect prospect information: When you receive a lead, collect information about their location, including their zip code or city. Even you don’t provide services to the requested are, ServiceWorks enables you to collect the information of the potential customer for future expansion.
To access the new availability widget for your website, open the configurations tab and navigate to Configuration -> Job Settings -> Instant Booking
From here, click the Share or arrow button to continue
In the following popup menu, click on the Embed Code tab to view the html code for the availability widget. You can also choose to edit the color with the Choose Button Color button. Once finished with your color selection, click Copy
- Segment leads by availability: Once you’ve checked availability, segment your leads into two groups: those who are in your service area and those who are not. Focus your efforts on the leads in your service area, as they are more likely to become paying customers.
- Follow up with leads: After you’ve segmented your leads, follow up with them accordingly. For leads in your service area, prioritize them and provide them with relevant information about your services. For leads outside your service area, ServiceWorks lets you politely decline and collect their information for future follow up. The list of customers not in your service area can be accessed from Potential Customer List report under Customer section.
