Email Management Permissions

Using the email management permissions, you can enable or disable the user’s ability to send and create carbon copies of emails.

To reach these permissions, log into your ServiceWorks account and click on the cogwheel in the toolbar to open the Configuration tab. Once opened, navigate to Admin > Permission

Now, in the permissions menu, set the first dropdown box to the user role you wish to edit permissions for and the second dropdown to Job. In our example, we’ll be editing these permissions for users with the Professional role

And then, within the Job Permissions menu, you can extend the access management menu to see the following options:

  • User Can Add To In Email
When active, allows the user to create emails from within the mobile app. When inactive, removes this ability from the user’s account
  • User Can Add Cc In Email
When active, it allows the user to CC additional email addresses when sending out customer emails via the mobile app. When inactive, prevents the user from doing so by removing the option from the mobile app
  • User Can Add Bcc In Email
When active, allows the user to BCC additional email addresses when sending out customer emails via the mobile app. When inactive, prevents the user from doing so by removing the option from the mobile app

Once completed with the permission changes, you may need to log out and back in (or have your users do so) in order to view the changes.
