System Patches and Updates for March 7th, 2023
The following issues/patches/updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
- New Features:
Added Unassigned Jobs tab to the schedule for easier assignment (BLOG)
Can now create a preset subject line for invoices and estimates - Optimization
The information box is now visible during the entire optimization process
Technicians are no longer preselected when initializing optimization
Resolved issue with only partial information on parts being pulled from Marcone - Inventory
Item variants are now listed in the inventory item view
Addressed issues with product family and details not saving to items
Unit price now displays up to 2 decimals only - Invoice
Added Part Tax% and Labor Tax% column in Invoice Register
{InvoiceUrl} tag added to Invoice Settings. Can now be used to attach a link to view the invoice.
Resolved issue with automated invoice notifications being sent involuntarily - Miscellaneous
Addressed error with technician panel not being visible on tablets
Addressed issue with unresponsive pages after adding zip codes to a zone
The distributor address setup now accepts all recognized zip codes/patterns
Resolved issue with statements showing credit being due
Addressed errors with page index in the customer view
We update ServiceWorks over a weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
