System Patches and Updates for February 21st, 2023

The following issues/patches/updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

  • Notifications
    – Addressed issue with automated notifications not being sent on time
    – Resolved issue where notifications were being sent to previously saved numbers after being updated in customer settings
    – Fixed issue with estimates sending out duplicate notifications
    – Added customizable template for Customer Portal notification
    – Resolved issue where customers were also receiving professional notifications
    – Addressed issue with customer messages not being visible by admin roles
  • Mobile App
    – Resolved issue where photos uploaded via mobile device were saved as blank or broken links
    – Red Flagged customers should now have an icon and highlight in the mobile app view
    – Addressed permissions-related issues for technicians in the mobile app
  • Inventory
    – Fixed issue with “On Order” amount varying between tab views
    – Addressed issue with transferring serialized items between locations
  • Price List
    – Services in Instant Booking now stay in the same sorting order as the Price List
    – Addressed issue with the webpage being inoperable while editing the Max Quantity in the Price List
  • Miscellaneous
    – Additional filters added to schedule view (view blog)
    – Jobs for deleted customers no longer appear in the route sheet
    – Addressed discrepancies with Daily Deposit Report
    – Addressed issues where Distributor Order No and Reference were being omitted from printed invoices

We update ServiceWorks over a weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
