System Patches and Updates for October 21st, 2024
The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
New Features
Resolved Issues
- Resolved issues where item on hand and item on order quantity were incorrect
- Addressed error where replacing a technician on a job displayed both current and previous tech’s commission rates
- Resolved issue with Daily Parts Required duplicating the technician name when printing
- Addressed issue where editing a product within the job menu didn’t save changes
- Fixed “Invalid Manufacturer” error message when submitting ServicePower claims
- Corrected tax calculations for POS transactions.
Mobile App

- Resolved issue where job information would not be retained when answering a call or opening another app
Enhancements
- Added permission to control the commission view to show only the logged in user’s rate
- Added the {Content} dynamic data text to the invoice legend, allowing for photos captured on jobs to be present on invoices
- Trip Notes can now be enforced via permissions
- Item notes can now be created from within the job menu
- eBlast feature now saves previously sent messages in template
- Added an information panel explaining the function of the Process Card Payment feature in the invoice menu
- Customer import instructions now include blog link
- Changed the password field to Admin API Key in Shopify configuration menu
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
