Enabling Permissions For Purchase Orders
Before your technicians can create purchase orders while out in the field, you’ll need to enable the settings for your professionals to access and utilize this feature.
To do so, open up the configurations tab and select Configuration -> Purchase Order Setting to reach the Purchase Order menu.

Once on the menu, enable the settings Can Professional Create PO, Auto Update Job Status for Receiving PO, and Automatically Change Status When Creating PO.
Doing so will ensure that any user with a Professional role can create purchase orders, as well as automate the change of the job status when the purchase order is created and received
Once enabled, click Save to continue
Next, go back to the configuration tab and navigate to Admin -> Permission to enter the permissions menu
On this menu, change the first dropdown box to Professional, and the second to Job. This will present you with the job permissions for all users with the professional role
Click the plus button next to the Job tab, and enable the permission labeled PO Creation. This will ensure that your technicians have the ability to create purchase orders from jobs either via desktop or mobile app
Once finished, you’re all set to have your technicians create purchase orders in the field!
WARNING
