What This Report Does:
Displays the quantity of items needed to be ordered by the inventory location. This number can be found by the following formula:
Qty To Order = Reorder Point – (Quantity Available + Quantity Purchased)
Upon opening this report, you’ll have the option to filter your search by a designated inventory location. Once finished with your selections, click Run Report to continue
Once generated, you will be able to view the following information within the report:
- Item Number – Displays the item’s assigned number
- Distributor Name – Displays the name of the item’s distributor
- Qty On Hand – Displays the current quantity on hand for the item
- Available – Displays the quantity of items available to be sold or attached to jobs
- Reserved – Displays the quantity of items in the “Reserved” status
- Qty On Order – Displays the quantity of items on order
- ROP – Displays the item’s set reorder point
- Qty To Order – Displays the quantity of the item to order to meet the ROP and allocation quota
