Within the ServiceWorks Pro app, you can set a permission to require all users that clock in using the app to leave a note. Here’s how to set this up within your ServiceWorks account:
Enabling The Clock-In Note Permissions
In order to have this feature active for your users, you’ll first need to enable the permission toggle to do so.
Click on the cogwheel in the upper right-hand corner to open the Configuration tab. Once opened, navigate to Admin -> Permission

In the Permission menu, select the user role you wish to add this permission to in the first drop-down box and select Setting in the second drop-down box. In this example, we’ll be setting this for the Professional role.

Click the + next to the Setting option to open the drop-down view, and then enable the Add Clock In Note toggle

Your permission has now been applied to the selected role. Now we’ll see how this will look in the mobile app.
Clocking In With Permission Active
Once active, the clock-in feature on the mobile app will require the user to enter a note upon clocking in. If the cancel button is selected or a note is not entered, the user will not be able to clock in.
