ServicePower Schedule View Update

This document describes the behavior of job scheduling in ServiceWorks when the Scheduling option is configured as By Time Range (3RD OPTION ) in the Claim Processor.

If the Dispatch source ServicePower correctly handles mapped and unmapped time ranges and that jobs are saved in ServiceWorks with the expected scheduling type, please select the Time Range Mapping after clicking the three dot menu in the Claim Processor row as shown in the image below.

By Time Range: Mapped Time Range

When Scheduling is selected as By Time Range, the Dispatch source sends a time range that is mapped and configured in ServiceWorks.

Precondition:

  • Scheduling is configured as By Time Range
  • The time range received from the Dispatch source is mapped in ServiceWorks
  • Auto-Accept or Save & Assign is enabled.

Expected Result:

The Dispatch source sends the mapped time range. The job is either Auto-Accepted, or Saved and Assigned. The job is saved in ServiceWorks with the corresponding mapped time range.

By Time Range – Non-Mapped Time Range

When Scheduling is selected as By Time Range, the Dispatch source sends a time range that is not configured or mapped in ServiceWorks.

Precondition:

  • Scheduling is configured as By Time Range
  • The time range received from the Dispatch source is not mapped in ServiceWorks.
  • Auto-Accept or Save & Assign is enabled.

Expected Result:

The Dispatch source sends the non-mapped time range. The job is either Auto-Accepted, or Saved and Assigned. Since the received time range is not mapped in ServiceWorks, the job is saved as an All Day job.
