System Patches and Updates for December 29th, 2023

The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

Resolved Issues

  • Added additional stability for syncing prepaid jobs with QuickBooks
  • Resolved error with authorize.net payments changing billing / shipping address during processing
  • Recurrences set for more than one year now reflect the correct date range when set
  • Credit card processing fees now apply as intended for transactions
  • Addressed issue where updating warranties on products caused the item to be due on invoices
  • Resolved issue where adding services marked them as taxable in mobile app
  • Using the “Get Status” button in PO now correctly displays the PO’s status
  • Jobs for sub-customers can no longer have their billable address edited
  • Addressed issue where route sheet and route on calendar map view did not match
  • Restored visibility to PST tax rate on invoices
  • Manufacturer logos are no longer visible when creating brands

Mobile App

  • Inventory items now return the correct quantities when deleted from tickets via mobile app
  • Resolved error where items with the disposition of “Delivered” would not save correctly to jobs

Enhancements

  • Added reminder interval configuration for estimation emails
  • Account Number now searchable when creating new jobs
  • “Allow Picture” checkbox added to job forms
  • Product Family & Detail selection fields now allow for information to be searched by typing the field name
  • Location field configuration toggle added to POS Invoice
  • Team names are now visible when running the Payroll report
  • Tip column added to Payroll report


We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our maintenance notification emails. Please note that the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
