System Patches and Updates for 2024
The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
New Features
- Added the ability to designate a bank account as the default for cash, checks, and credit card payments via Chart of Accounts
- Improved workflow and functionality for the Membership feature
Resolved Issues
- Restored functionality to the edit icon on the Customer Profile section of the Customer Portal
- Resolved issue where changes made to Product Custom Fields did not save correctly
- Addressed Issue with the CreateCustomer function in Zapier integration
- Solved issue with down payments applied to billing jobs appearing twice in Customer A/R
Enhancements
- Preset Job Statuses and Item Dispositions can now be deleted
- Model & Serial Numbers can now be enforced in the Product / Equipment tab on Instant Booking page
- Added Customer Custom Field column on Instant Booking Jobs report
- Added Time In, Time Out, and Job Notes to the Route Sheet report
- Added Date Filter to Employee Scheduled Time Off report
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
