System Patches and Updates for May 17th, 2024

The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved issue where technicians with matching skills would not appear within the list when clicking the Check Availability button​
  • Addressed issue where newer version of Zapier API was not creating or updating existing customers​
  • Resolved issue where users were unable to issue a refund via check​
  • Resolved issue where claims submitted from ServiceWorks were not present within ServiceBench​
  • Addressed issue with appointment reminders being sent out for the incorrect job types​
  • Fixed error regarding employee commission changes not carrying over to copied jobs​
  • Addressed synchronization issues with Quickbooks involving timeouts​
  • Serialized and Non-serialized items are removed from item needed page when set to allocated​
  • Formula for Available Quantity (Available = On Hand – Allocated) now calculates correctly​
  • Allocated serial numbers can no longer be selected in other jobs or POS​
  • Delivery tickets created from POS puts items in Allocated status​
  • Serialized items set to apply later will have an available serial number within the bin location assigned when setting the item status to allocated​
  • Allocated serial numbers no longer appear within the Serial Number Available report​
  • Resolved issue with professional reassignment notifications not going out to the correct technicians
  • Resolved issue with zone enforcement not being recognized within instant booking signups​
  • Addressed issues with payment receipts not saving created changes.

Mobile App

Enhancements

  • If a job type isn’t assigned to a user, the system will assume that technician is capable of servicing all job types
  • Color coding can now be changed and assigned for ServiceBench, ServicePower, and First American Home Warranty jobs
  • If variant item name is blank, system will use the item number instead​
  • Variant items entered within the bundle section will appear in the same order as inventory items.
  • The description and brand are now visible during autofill suggestions for variant items.
  • The item grid now displays variants as their own individual item​


We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note that the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
