System Patches and Updates for August 31st, 2024

The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

New Features

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved issue with delete product button removing all products from jobs with multiple products
  • Addressed issue with sales tax discrepancies on jobs synched to QuickBooks
  • Resolved issue with invoices synced to QuickBooks not including discounts, tips, or credit card fees
  • Resolved issue with payment displaying an incorrect amount when synching to QuickBooks
  • Resolved issue involving discrepancies with return amounts
  • Restored functionality to Trip Note dynamic link in Print Ticket Template
  • Resolved issue where permissions for viewing and editing job information did not function
  • Addressed issue where specific item numbers in PO caused duplicate line items
  • Restored functionality to the “Show Inactive Product” option in the Product search
  • Addressed error with being unable to cancel jobs from the Open Jobs section

Mobile App

  • UI Update – More button has been moved to the sidebar
  • Added a Product History link to the product section in app
  • Resolved error with app crashing when making time sheet adjustments
  • Resolved issue with app displaying duplicate jobs
  • Addressed Error with Service History Appearing empty in the mobile app
  • Fixed errors where file upload errors registered as successful

Enhancements

  • Added the ability to preview combined invoice PDF prior to being sent
  • Tabs within the schedule section are now extended when only one trip has been scheduled
  • Added the ability to view and print a warranty invoice on warranty jobs


We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
