Integrating LG Dispatch with ServiceWorks

Log into your ServiceWorks account

Open configuration settings by clicking on the cogwheel in the upper right corner of the screen

Configuration panel will open on the left side of the screen and navigate to the Integration section, once that expands click on Claim Processor Setup

Click on the “+” icon in the upper right

Once that is clicked, a pop up will be shown with fields to be populated to connect to LG 

Let’s cover these fields

  1. Processor: In the drop down menu you will have several Processors listed, select “LG Dispatch”
  2. Name Field: This is how LG Dispatch will be shown inside ServiceWorks for your reference
  3. ID: provided to you by LG
  4. Username: Provided to you by LG
  5. Password: The password you use to login to your LG portal
  6. Part Submission to Claim: Are you submitting by Price or Cost?
    1. Note: Please be sure if you are setting either Price or Cost, that this matches your Manufacturer setting in Settings > Inventory Settings > Manufacturer
  7. 7 through 10 are not mandatory fields. If you have the location of the LG warranty you can enter it, but it’s not necessary.
  8. Phone: if you have a contact at LG you can enter their phone here
  9. Email: If you have a contact at LG you can enter the email here
  10. Ship To Code: Found in your LG portal.

    Log in to your LG Service Portal Go to Profile / Account Settings
    Look for Service Locations or Company Information
    Select your Service Location
    Look for you “Ship to Code”
  11. BMS Company Code: Found in your LG Portal

    Log in to your LG Service Portal
    Go to Service Provider Information or Company Profile
    Look BMS Company Code, it could be called Vendor Code, or Service Provider ID
  12. Service Engineer Code: Usually will be your Ship To Code
  13. Auto Accept: If you select this choice, then LG jobs will automatically accept. They will come into ServiceWorks on the schedule board. Otherwise, jobs will be listed under Notification Bell under LG Dispatch Tickets.
  14. Send Sub Status: When enabled, this allows Service Works to update the job status on the LG side.
  15. Update Employee: If this option is selected then it automatically updates employee.
  16. Update Area: If this option is selected then it automatically updates the area.
  17. Update Capacity: If this option is selected then it automatically updates the capacity.
  18. Color: This can be used to change the color coding of your LG jobs on the schedule

Click Save to Save your setup. If the username or password are not entered correctly, you will get a pop-up notification. It will let you know it was not correct.

Reasons your setup or sync will fail

  • Your User ID is incorrect
  • Your Password is incorrect
  • Field 13 or 14 has the wrong code
  • Processor name was changed from “LG Dispatch” This includes extra spaces or deleting a space
