Model Search

With the model search feature, you can locate, view, and order parts for various appliances from the Marcone Supply retailer. Here’s how to utilize this feature within your ServiceWorks account:


To begin searching, viewing, and ordering items, hover over the inventory tab and select Model Search from the dropdown list

Once in the model search menu, you can begin to search for items by the distributor or model number. Typing in the first three characters will bring up all items that match the text entered. Once completed with entering your search criteria, click Search

In the search results screen, you’ll view a list of all items that match the criteria. Each model number is a link to it’s corresponding schematic, with the OEM name beneath each item. Click on your desired item to continue.

In the following menu, you’ll choose which item schematic matches the items you wish to order. Depending on the complexity of your model, you may have multiple schematic pages to choose from. Once you’ve located the correct schematic, click the page link above the image

In each schematic page, you’ll have the image displaying where each part fits in as well as a list of each item in the schematic. From here, you can click the checkbox in the column to the left to add your desired items to a purchase order.

In a situation where the item you wish to order isn’t already created within your account, you’ll be prompted to add the item to your inventory. Click Yes to create the item in your account.

You can also run into a similar message when trying to order items from a part that hasn’t been added to your account prior. Once you’ve selected your items click the Create Order button to continue

Once created, you’ll be taken to a purchase order screen where all of your selected parts will be prepopulated and ready to be quantified.

You’ll also be able to access the model search feature while creating and editing jobs. Start by either opening a new or existing job, then navigate to the Product / Equipment section

Within the Product / Equipment section, click on the Model link next to the model number (Note: If this field is empty, the model number will not be present. You will need to partially or fully enter a model number and save the item to make the link appear)

Once clicked, you’ll be taken directly to the model search menu

The model search function can be utilized in the ServiceWorks Pro App as well! To access this, click the menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen and tap Inventory Management in the toolbar

In the Inventory Management menu, tap Model Search

Once in the Model Search screen, enter the number of the model number into the search field, then tap Search

Once entered, you should see a list of items generated from your search criteria. When you’ve identified the correct model number, tap the model name

In the Model Section screen, much like on the desktop side, you’ll choose which item schematic matches the items you wish to order. Tap a schematic to continue.

And once in the Model Section Detail menu, you can click the checkbox next to the items required to select them for your purchase order. Tap Create PO when finished to complete the process.
