System Patches and Updates for 2024
The following issues, patches, and updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:
Enhancements
- Recurring Jobs: Creating recurring jobs can now be done directly from Instant Booking.
- Job Search: Improved search functionality to include searching only by product and family details.
- Customer Profiles: Faster loading times for easier navigation.
- Map View: Unassigned jobs are now visible on the map.
- Inventory View: UI changes to how columns are viewed within inventory menu
Bug Fixes
- Finance Charges: Corrected an issue where finance charges were applied incorrectly.
- Billable To: Restored the ability to edit “Billable To” information within the job ticket.
- Job Status: Fixed a problem where job status wasn’t updating for received POs.
- Refund Notes: Notes are now saved when issuing refunds.
- Job in Jeopardy: Resolved an issue preventing Job in Jeopardy notifications from being sent.
- Check Payments: Corrected an error that caused check information to not be saved.
- Print Ticket: Removed disabled sections from the generated print ticket.
- Pending Serial Report: Fixed a 500 error that occurred when running the report.
We update ServiceWorks over the weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system, you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates
