System Patches and Updates for January 24th, 2023

The following issues/patches/updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

  • Instant Booking:
    – Resolved issues where enable/disable page toggle was not functioning properly
  • Inventory:
    – Default location can now only be assigned to one location at a time
  • Job/Estimates:
    – Addressed issue where copying a recurring job did not retain the time and date
    – Resolved issue where Job in Jeopardy notification was being sent before conditions were met
  • Mobile App:
    – Resolved issue with the app crashing when performing a model search
    – Fixed issue with payments reverting to cash after uploading checks in app
    – Additional city and zipcode fixes have been added to the mobile database
    – Resolved issue with items being duplicated when added to jobs
    – Custom field enforcement can now be added in the mobile app
    – Addressed problem where paid icon was not appearing next to paid jobs
  • New Features:
    Production Rates can now be assigned to items within the Price List
    – Phone numbers entered will now correctly format according to country codes
    – Can now choose to ignore zone setup during optimization
  • Payments:
    – Receipt email now sends to the customer after any payment method is processed
    – Resolved issue where credit card processing fees were appearing as credits on accounts
    – Addressed customers from December 2022 showing up on January 2023 statements
    – Fixed issue where returned amounts on orders were being doubled
  • UI
    – PO menu now allows user to scroll to the bottom of the page for better pop-up menu visibility

We update ServiceWorks over a weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates.
