System Patches and Updates for December 6th, 2022

The following issues/patches/updates were addressed in our latest update to ServiceWorks:

  • Performance:
    – Decreased load times on the Schedule page
  • Instant Booking:
    – Services now display in the same order as within Price List
    – Toggle has been added to enable/disable Job Type selection requirement
  • Reports:
    – Fixed issue with Sales Tax – Cash Basis displaying incorrect amounts
    – Service Money Collected report has now been renamed Job Payment Details
    – Resolved issue with Tax Report by Receipts populating empty tables when running a report
    – Cash Basis Accounting report now generates a link within the report to show a breakdown of taxes
    – Inventory by Location report now generates Excel file
  • Misc:
    -Addressed issues with email templates sending incorrect information
    – Resolved issues with distributor payments showing negative amounts
    – Commission rate now saves whenever it has been changed within the job ticket
    – Resolved issue where American Express cards were not being accepted as a form of payment
    – Support for New Zealand postal codes has been added

We update ServiceWorks over a weekend when a patch or update will also affect the mobile app. This prevents our customers from getting an update notice on their mobile devices when starting their workday. Please look for our Maintenance Notification Emails. Please note, the morning after a promotion to the system you may see some temporary slowness when first logging into your account. This will clear up quickly as your system takes in the new updates.
