Instant Booking is a powerful feature by which you can get job requests from your website directly even when you are not available.
Step 1: Request the script by talking to your assigned product specialist
Step 2: Product Specialist will email you the booking script. The script will look some thing like this.
<html> <head> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> <script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.0.min.js"></script> <script src="https://app.service.works/Scripts/SharedNewJob.js?companyId=HGHGG##&color=b6fcd5&div=dvInstantBook" id="companyId"></script> </head> <body> <div id="dvInstantBook"> </div> </body> </html>
Step 3: Take the script and find the pages where you want to embed this script in your website.
Step 4: In your web page make sure to put the following code inside your head block.
<script src="https://app.service.works/Scripts/SharedNewJob.js?companyId=MTIzMQ==&color=b6fcd5&div=dvInstantBook" id="companyId"></script>
Step 5: In your web page create an empty div with an id=”dvInstantBook”.
Step 6: That’s all. Now when the page loads you should see Book Now button in the designated div area.
Step 7: When the Book Now button is clicked, the job request form will open up and it will list all the Services you have enabled in your price list.
Step 8: Customers can now type in their information, pick a job they are interested in and pick a date time to schedule the job, and click Save button.
Step 9: A new job request will be created in your Service Works account and you can see it in the calendar or from the All Jobs page. The job will remain in unassigned status. You can filter the All jobs by status=”Unassigned” and see all of your unassigned jobs.
From the calendar page also you can see all your unassigned jobs by selecting only Unassigned from the left pane.
